ABOUT STEPHANIE

I am the founder and driving force of Socialkraft, a unique support service for neurodivergent learners of all ages.

For the past 28+ years, I have worked with toddlers, children, teens and young adults in a variety of settings including the Boys and Girl's Club, Portland Parks and Recreation Inclusion Program, Portland Public Schools, Portland Early Intervention Program, Therapy Solutions for Kids, Social Skills NW with Dr. Marie Mc Mahon and Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp as well as countless local private pre-schools, elementary and middle schools. In addition, I proudly served two terms as a board member for the Autism Society of Oregon.

In addition to my individual and school supports, I specialize in the creation of visual supports such as Sketchnotes, Social Stories™, picture exchange systems (PECS), choice boards, and play schedules. These tools can help increase communication, decrease challenging behaviors, establish routines, and illuminate the subtleties of social situations.

My intervention strategies infuse a combination of techniques, strategies and tools inspired by:
